ประกาศคณะปฏิรูปการปกครองในระบอบประชาธิปไตย อันมีพระมหากษัตริย์ทรงเป็นประมุข ฉบับที่ ๑๔ เรื่อง ให้พระราชบัญญัติประกอบรัฐธรรมนูญบางฉบับมีผลใช้บังคับต่อไป เพื่อให้การดำเนินการเกี่ยวกับการรับเรื่องร้องเรียนเกี่ยวกับการบริหารราชการแผ่นดินและการ ปฏิบัติงานของเจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐเป็นไปอย่างต่อเนื่อง คณะปฏิรูปการปกครองในระบอบประชาธิปไตย อันมีพระมหากษัตริย์ทรงเป็นประมุข จึงมีประกาศให้พระราชบัญญัติประกอบรัฐธรรมนูญว่าด้วย ผู้ตรวจการแผ่นดินของรัฐสภา พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๒มีผลใช้บังคับต่อไป จนกว่าจะประกาศเป็นอย่างอื่น ประกาศ ณวันที่ ๒๑กันยายน พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๙ พลเอก สนธิ บุญยรัตกลิน หัวหน้าคณะปฏิรูปการปกครองในระบอบประชาธิปไตย อันมีพระมหากษัตริย์ทรงเป็นประมุข
