ในการพิจารณาวินิจฉัยอุทธรณ์ ให้ ก.พ.ค.ตร. มีอำนาจไม่รับอุทธรณ์ ยกอุทธรณ์ หรือมีคำวินิจฉัยให้แก้ไขหรือยกเลิกคำสั่งลงโทษ และให้เยียวยาความเสียหายให้ผู้อุทธรณ์ เลม่ ๑๓๙ ตอนที่ ๖๔ ก หนา้ ๖๙ รวมทั้งเร่งรัดติดตามการเยียวยา หรือให้ดำเนินการอื่นใดเพื่อประโยชน์แห่งความยุติธรรม ตามระเบียบ ที่ ก.พ.ค.ตร. กำหนด การวินิจฉัยให้แก้ไขหรือให้ดำเนินการอื่นตามวรรคหนึ่ง ก.พ.ค.ตร. จะให้เพิ่มโทษไม่ได้
