ให้ส่วนราชการที่จัดตั้งขึ้นตามพระราชกฤษฎีกาแบ่งส่วนราชการสำนักงาน ตำรวจแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๒ และที่แก้ไขเพิ่มเติม และกฎกระทรวงแบ่งส่วนราชการเป็นกองบังคับการ หรือส่วนราชการอย่างอื่นในสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๒ และที่แก้ไขเพิ่มเติม เป็นส่วนราชการตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้จนกว่าจะมีพระราชกฤษฎีกาหรือกฎกระทรวงที่ออกตามมาตรา ๑๑ แต่ทั้งนี้ต้องไม่เกินหนึ่งปีนับแต่วันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ
