ผู้ใดขัดขวางหรือไม่อำนวยความสะดวกในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของคณะกรรมการ หรือพนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ตามมาตรา ๕๓ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินหนึ่งเดือน หรือปรับไม่เกินหนึ่งพันบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ ในกรณีที่ปรากฏว่ามีการกระทำความผิดอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ ให้ถือว่า คณะกรรมการเป็นผู้เสียหายตามประมวลกฎหมายวิธีพิจารณาความอาญา บทบัญญัติมาตรานี้ไม่เป็นการตัดสิทธิผู้เสียหายที่แท้จริงในการใช้สิทธิฟ้องร้องหรือดำเนินการใดๆ ตามกฎหมายต่อผู้กระทำความผิดนั้น
