เมื่อคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมและรักษามรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมกรุงเทพมหานคร หรือคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมและรักษามรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมประจำจังหวัดพิจารณาแล้วเห็นสมควร ให้มรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมรายการใดได้รับการขึ้นบัญชีมรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรม ให้เสนอ มรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมรายการนั้นต่อกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมเพื่อเสนอคณะกรรมการพิจารณา
