ให้เรือนจำจัดให้ผู้ต้องขังหญิงที่ตั้งครรภ์หรือให้นมบุตรได้รับคำแนะนำทาง ด้านสุขภาพและโภชนาการจากแพทย์ พยาบาล หรือเจ้าพนักงานเรือนจำที่ผ่านการอบรมด้านการพยาบาล และต้องจัดอาหารที่เพียงพอและในเวลาที่เหมาะสมให้แก่ผู้ต้องขังหญิงที่ตั้งครรภ์ ทารก เด็กและมารดา ที่ให้นมบุตร และต้องไม่ขัดขวางผู้ต้องขังหญิงในการให้นมบุตรและการดูแลบุตร เว้นแต่มีปัญหาด้านสุขภาพ ทั้งนี้ ให้เป็นไปตามระเบียบกรมราชทัณฑ์
