สภากาชาดยึดถือหลักสามัคคีธรรม ซึ่งผูกพันสภากาชาดประจำชาติทั้งหลาย เป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกันอยู่เนืองนิตย์ และรักษาความสัมพันธ์อันถาวรกับสภากาชาดประจำชาติ ๑ ราชกิจจานุเบกษาเล่ม ๗๔/ตอนที่๕๔/หน้า๑๐๘๑/๑๘มิถุนายน ๒๕๐๐ เหล่านั้น ตลอดทั้งคณะกรรมการกาชาดระหว่างประเทศและสันนิบาตสภากาชาดด้วย
