Consolidated edition — not the text as first promulgatedเมื่อมีการจำหน่ายที่ดินของผู้ใด การชำระราคา ตามนัยแห่งประมวลกฎหมายนี้โดยวิธีเช่าซื้อหรือผ่อน ผ่อนชำระ ชำระราคาให้อธิบดีชำระราคาที่ดินให้แก่ผู้มีสิทธิใน ที่ดินเป็นงวดๆให้เสร็จสิ้นภายในระยะเวลาดังต่อไปนี้ (๑)กรณีการจำหน่ายตามมาตรา ๓๙ให้ผ่อน ชำระราคาที่ดินภายในห้าปี (๒)กรณีการจำหน่ายตามมาตราอื่นให้ผ่อน ชำระราคาที่ดินภายในสิบปี สำหรับการผ่อนชำระราคาที่ดินนั้นให้คิด ดอกเบี้ย ดอกเบี้ยร้อยละสามต่อปีของราคาที่ดินที่ค้างชำระจากผู้ ซื้อหรือผู้เช่าซื้อ ให้แก่ผู้มีสิทธิในที่ดินเดิม
