ในระหว่างการขุดดินและภายหลังการขุดดินแล้วเสร็จ ผู้ขุดดินตามมาตรา ๑๗เจ้าของที่ดิน หรือผู้ครอบครองที่ดิน แล้วแต่กรณี ต้องตรวจสอบเสถียรภาพของบ่อดินและดำเนินการให้มีความมั่นคง ปลอดภัยอยู่เสมอ
