เพื่อประโยชน์ในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของ ก.ร.ตร. ให้จเรตำรวจแห่งชาติ จัดให้ข้าราชการตำรวจในสำนักงานจเรตำรวจมาปฏิบัติหน้าที่เพื่อช่วยเหลือ ก.ร.ตร. ตามที่ ก.ร.ตร. มอบหมาย ทั้งนี้ ตามจำนวนและระดับตำแหน่งตามที่ ก.ร.ตร. กำหนด ในการพิจารณาความดีความชอบเพื่อเลื่อนเงินเดือนของข้าราชการตำรวจตามวรรคหนึ่ง ให้ผู้บังคับบัญชาพิจารณาตามมติของ ก.ร.ตร. แต่มติของ ก.ร.ตร. ต้องสอดคล้องกับวงเงินที่ได้รับ การจัดสรร
