อธิบดีอาจเรียกให้ผู้นำของเข้า ผู้ส่งของออก หรือบุคคลซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับการศุลกากร ให้ประกันอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดเพื่อรับรองว่าจะปฏิบัติตามหลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการ และเงื่อนไขที่เกี่ยวกับการศุลกากร การให้ประกันตามวรรคหนึ่ง ให้เป็นไปตามหลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการ และเงื่อนไขที่อธิบดีประกาศกำหนด
