ให้นโยบายเสริมสร้างสันติสุขในพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ตามคำสั่ง สำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี ที่ ๒๐๖/๒๕๔๙ ลงวันที่ ๓๐ ตุลาคม พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๙ เป็นนโยบายการบริหาร และการพัฒนาจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ตามมาตรา ๔ จนกว่าจะได้จัดทำนโยบายขึ้นใหม่หรือปรับปรุง ตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้
