เงินของกองทุน ให้ใช้จ่ายเพื่อการจัดประชารัฐสวัสดิการและกิจการ ดังต่อไปนี้
(๑) การให้ความช่วยเหลือประชาชนผู้มีรายได้น้อยตามโครงการลงทะเบียนเพื่อสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ
(๒) การสนับสนุนโครงการที่ให้บริการทางสังคมที่จัดทำขึ้นโดยหน่วยงานของเอกชน มูลนิธิ หรือองค์กรสาธารณประโยชน์ เพื่อช่วยเหลือประชาชนในภาวะลำบากทุกประเภท
(๓) การดำเนินงานและบริหารกองทุนตามที่คณะกรรมการให้ความเห็นชอบ
