ให้มีคณะกรรมการทางวิชาการของสำนักงานราชบัณฑิตยสภาประจำสาขาวิชาต่างๆ คณะหนึ่งหรือหลายคณะ ซึ่งแต่งตั้งโดยนายกราชบัณฑิตยสภาเพื่อดำเนินกิจการตามอำนาจหน้าที่ของ สำนักงานราชบัณฑิตยสภา นอกจากคณะกรรมการทางวิชาการตามวรรคหนึ่ง นายกราชบัณฑิตยสภามีอำนาจแต่งตั้ง คณะกรรมการอื่น เพื่อทำการใด ๆ อันอยู่ในอำนาจหน้าที่ของราชบัณฑิตยสภา ให้กรรมการทางวิชาการตามวรรคหนึ่งและกรรมการอื่นตามวรรคสองได้รับค่าตอบแทนตามที่ คณะรัฐมนตรีกำหนด เล่ม ๑๓๒ ตอนที่ ๑๐ ก
