สูตรที่ ๔. คำว่า ปริปูรํ ปริปูรการี อาราเธติ คือ ผู้กระทำอรหัตมรรคให้บริบูรณ์ ย่อมสำเร็จอรหัตผล.
คำว่า ปเทสํ ปเทสการี คือ ผู้กระทำมรรคบางส่วน ที่เหลืออีกสาม ก็ย่อมสำเร็จผลสามเป็นบางส่วนเท่านั้น.
ใน ๔ สูตรนี้ พระผู้มีพระภาคเจ้าทรงแสดงอินทรีย์คละกันไป ด้วยประการฉะนี้.
