ในกรณีที่กรรมการข้าราชการตำรวจผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิตามมาตรา ๒๒ (๔) (ก) หรือ
(ข) พ้นจากตำแหน่งก่อนครบวาระ ให้ผู้ซึ่งมีชื่ออยู่ในบัญชีสำรองในประเภทนั้นตามมาตรา ๒๖
(๔) เลม่ ๑๓๙ ตอนที่ ๖๔ ก หนา้ ๑๗ เรียงตามลำดับเป็นกรรมการข้าราชการตำรวจผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิตามมาตรา ๒๒ (๔) (ก) หรือ
(ข) แทน แล้วแต่กรณี และให้อยู่ในตำแหน่งเท่าวาระที่เหลืออยู่ของผู้ซึ่งตนแทน การดำรงตำแหน่งของกรรมการข้าราชการตำรวจผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิที่ดำรงตำแหน่งแทน หากมี กำหนดเวลาไม่ถึงสองปี ไม่ให้นับเป็นวาระการดำรงตำแหน่งตามมาตรา ๒๗
