เงินกองทุนให้ใช้จ่ายเพื่อเป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ของกองทุน ดังต่อไปนี้
(๑) เป็นเงินสนับสนุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการลงทุน การวิจัยและพัฒนา การส่งเสริมนวัตกรรม หรือ การพัฒนาบุคลากรเฉพาะด้านของกิจการในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย
(๒) เป็นค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำเนินงานของกองทุนตามที่คณะกรรมการนโยบายกำหนด การจ่ายเงินสนับสนุนตาม
(๑) ได้ต้องปรากฏว่าผู้ได้รับการส่งเสริมได้ปฏิบัติตามเงื่อนไขที่ คณะกรรมการนโยบายกำหนดไว้แล้ว
