เพื่อประโยชน์ในการรับเรื่องร้องเรียนเกี่ยวกับการทวงถามหนี้ ให้ที่ว่าการอำเภอ และสถานีตำรวจเป็นสถานที่รับเรื่องร้องเรียนเกี่ยวกับการทวงถามหนี้ได้ด้วย รวมทั้งให้หัวหน้าหน่วยงาน เล่ม ๑๓๒ ตอนที่ ๑๖ ก ดังกล่าวมีอำนาจหน้าที่รวบรวมข้อเท็จจริงและเอกสารเพื่อส่งเรื่องต่อไปยังที่ทำการปกครองจังหวัด หรือกองบัญชาการตำรวจนครบาล แล้วแต่กรณี ทั้งนี้ ตามหลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการ และเงื่อนไข ที่คณะกรรมการกำหนด
