ให้เจ้าพนักงานเรือนจำผู้ที่ผ่านการฝึกอบรมตามมาตรา ๑๘ เป็นตำแหน่งที่มี เหตุพิเศษตามกฎหมายว่าด้วยระเบียบข้าราชการพลเรือน และในการกำหนดให้ได้รับเงินเพิ่มสำหรับตำแหน่ง ที่มีเหตุพิเศษให้คำนึงถึงภาระหน้าที่และคุณภาพของงาน โดยเปรียบเทียบกับค่าตอบแทนของผู้ปฏิบัติงานอื่น ในกระบวนการยุติธรรม ทั้งนี้ ให้เป็นไปตามระเบียบกระทรวงยุติธรรมโดยได้รับความเห็นชอบจาก กระทรวงการคลัง
