พึงทราบวินิจฉัยในพลิพัททสูตรที่ ๘ ดังต่อไปนี้ :-
โคพลิพัทใด ย่อมย่ำยีฝูงโคของตน ไม่ย่ำยีฝูงโคของฝูงอื่น โคพลิพัทนี้ชื่อว่า ดุแต่ในโคฝูงของตน ไม่ดุในโคฝูงอื่น.
บททั้งปวงพึงทราบอย่างนี้.
บทว่า อุพฺเพเชตา โหติ ได้แก่ กระทบ คือเสียดแทงทำให้เกิดความหวาดหวั่น.
