ผู้ใดกระทำโดยทุจริตให้เหรียญกระษาปณ์ซึ่งรัฐบาลออกใช้มีน้ำหนัลดลงต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินเจ็ดปี และปรับไม่เกินหนึ่งหมื่นสี่พันบาท ผู้ใดนำเข้าในราชอาณาจักร นำออกใช้หรือมีไว้เพื่อนำออกใช้ ซึ่งเหรียญกระษาปณ์ที่ มีผู้กระทำโดยทุจริตให้น้ำหนักลดลงตามความในวรรคแรก ต้องระวางโทษเช่นเดียวกัน
