ในปฐมอวิชชาปหานสูตรที่ ๖ มีวินิจฉัยดังต่อไปนี้.
บทว่า อนิจฺจโต ชานโต ความว่า อวิชชา เธอย่อมละได้ด้วยสามารถแห่งอนิจจลักขณะและอนัตตลักขณะนั่นเอง. ก็พระผู้มีพระภาคเจ้า ครั้นตรัสแสดงอนิจจลักขณะนี้แล้ว จึงตรัสตามอัธยาศัยของผู้ตรัสรู้.
