พึงทราบวินิจฉัยในวิตถตสูตรที่ ๔ ดังต่อไปนี้ :-
บทว่า สติเนปกฺเกน นี้ ปัญญาท่านเรียกว่า เนปักกะ (ปัญญารักษาตน).
ท่านถือเอาปัญญานั้นโดยความเป็นอุปการะแก่สติ.
