บทว่า เวรพหุโล ได้แก่ เป็นผู้มีเวรมากด้วยบุคคลเวรบ้าง ด้วยอกุศลเวรบ้าง.
บทว่า วชฺชพหุโล คือ เป็นผู้มากไปด้วยโทษ.
