บทว่า โน จ สีลวา ได้แก่ ผู้ไม่ทำให้บริบูรณ์ในศีล.
บทว่า สมนฺตปาสาทิโก แปลว่า ให้เกิดความเลื่อมใสรอบด้าน.
บทว่า สพฺพาการปริปูโร ได้แก่ บริบูรณ์ด้วยอาการของสมณะ คือด้วยส่วนแห่งสมณธรรมทุกอย่าง.
